American Freight / Sears Hometown & Outlet was cool AF. It’s been my home for the past 10+ years. In the time there I have worked on so many projects and had the privilege of leading the development lifecycle, using the latest and greatest cutting edge technologies. Nowhere else that I've worked has been so open of using and adopting new technologies. Truly an amazing place to set up shop.
THE WHAT
AF consisted of a bit of everything. Figma for the design work. NextJs for the front-end. Fetch & GraphQl for the data fetching. Not just the design and dev side, AF also consisted of analytics, user testing, team management and so much more.
